Mental Health Matters

Service Description

Optimum's Mental Health Matters is a Family Psycho-education program focused on mental health literacy for parents, caregivers and other family members of individuals who have faced or are experiencing mental health challenges. This program is ideal for schools, workplaces, houses of worship as well as other interested groups. Mental Health Matters is offered through an in-person group setting or virtually. We teach individuals and families Through this dynamic program and supportive environment, participants are reminded that they are not alone, recovery is a journey, and there is always hope. Optimum's Mental Health Family Psychoeducation (FPE), an evidence-based practice, gives families information about mental illnesses, helps them build social supports, and enhances problem-solving, communication, and coping skills.
